The Giants and Vikings will need to play elsewhere due to the metrodome collapse in Minneapolis on Sunday. Heavy snow had been falling steadily all day Saturday causing the roof to implode with snow crashing inside the metrodome. The Minneapolis metropolitan area received over 14-18 inches across the area.
Milwaukee|Chicago Snowfall
Southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois received mostly rain earlier on Saturday. The rain changed to snow in the late afternoon to late evening from west to east across both states. The snowfall accumulations were severely impacted around the Milwaukee area due to the warm air being drawn into the low pressure system from Lake Michigan.
